There is a bug in GetSatisfaction.com. My company is TalentSpring.com. Tim in our company created our page on this site. I want to join as an employee of this site.
The bug is that the hyperlink goes to http://getsatisfaction.com/learn and that won't let me join my company. When I enter my company name, it says the company already exists. That is correct, but I want to join as an employee. I want to make it that TalentSpring says "2 employee is listening and participating".
- I clicked the link to go from a one-time poster to a full profile. I filled out the form. When I hit submit, I was presented with... the same form, now blank, with a blank error at the top.
- When I tried to sign up normally as a new user, I got the helpful error message: "Emails is invalid."
- When I tried to import my profile from Twitter, once again, I got: "Emails is invalid."
- I then got an email from Satisfaction saying 'Welcome!' and that I needed to confirm my email. Clicking the link in that gives me an error message that says: AccessDeniedError.
- When I try to request my password, assuming I've typo'd it, I just get the same email again asking me to fill out a nickname and password to go from a one-time signup to a full profile.
Best part? I -know- my profile has been created, because the first question I asked now lists my name beside the question. But I can't sign in!
We added hCard support to Mahalo profiles this morning, and it appears that getsatisfaction's hCard parser suffers from the same bug that the Operator toolbar for Firefox does when it comes to nested hCards. Because our profiles contain hCards for all of your friends as well, the profile import is grabbing their information instead of your own from the main hCard in the page.
I just added two companies to "follow". Now, my dashboard is not laid out correctly. In Firefox, the left sidebar is as wide as the entire page, obscuring the Recent Activity entirely. In IE, it is not quite as wide, but it pushes the recent activity items over about halfway (the items are still visible in IE).
I have screenshots of both if you provide a way for me to send them. Thanks.
You should re-send email notifications when topics are re-named. I clicked on a link and it no longer worked. Turns out the user had corrected a misspelling in the topic name.
I've recently been noticing old topics showing up suddenly for no discernible reason in the Recently Active Topics list.
This just happened again with http://getsatisfaction.com/iwantsandy.... notice that the most recent reply was a month ago and yet it just appeared again this morning.
