Editing on final minute: Always freezing. [Important!]

    Hi Get Satisfaction team,

I think I report an important problem here:

The problem with the 15 minutes edit time is, every time I enter the "one minute left countdown" ;-) period and try to save my change (always only a small, quick fix / change, don't worry :)), it freezes! And subsequently doesn't show up in the post.
I think, at least your system should be configured that way, that it accepts all changes, made in that last editing period! "Freezing" is just not a solution. ;-)

Keep up the good work! :)

    Kind regards,

    Phil

"Cancel editing this reply" is "too ajaxified" (no control dialogue) Last reply on July 05, 2008 00:04.

    Hi there,

I currently experienced the problem, that I accidentally clicked on "Cancel editing this reply".
What happened? My new sentences were immediately gone without any possibility to restore!! :( That's too bad I think. I think in this case, AJAX is only useful, when you would implement a "Are you sure you want to cancel?" dialogue!

No one likes to loose the stuff he has written. And in this case, the formerly useful AJAX isn't a time saver any more, but a time burglar. I hope you get my point.

Change 'edit time' on Satisfaction? Last reply on February 08, 2008 03:17.

After a PBwiki Support meeting tonight, I decided to direct this issue to you about the edit timeout that's in place.

While a timeout for the edit button is available for the usual user, a support person's answer may change as their system changes - thus an entirely different answer may apply.

How can we edit these answers? Can some of us gain special privileges for an edit button to appear, or to delete threads?

Where can I view, add, remove, and edit my relationships with companies? Last reply on October 03, 2007 05:49.

I'm sure you are already planning something like this, but I thought I'd still mention it. It is obvious to me that somewhere on the site I should be able to do things like:

    • See a list of companies I've added to the website

    • See and edit my relationships with companies (e.g., a customer, a fan, a captive... you know, in case they are PayPal and I go from liking them to wanting to stab them in the jaw)

    • Create relationships with companies already on the site. Even if I didn't add T-Mobile to the site, I am still a fan.

    • See an aggregate of other people's relationships with companies. I'm talking about bar graphs/pie charts as well as just text statements like "Sprint users describe their relationship as: 50% customers, 8% fan, 20% captive ..."
