[Bug] Problem opening sites displayed by AJAX with "Drag De Go" Mozilla Firefox extension.
Hi GetSatisfaction team,
as you know, I get topic recommendations as I type into the content field ("These topics may help") and these topics are also openable by me via right and left click, but they're not openable with the "Drag De Go" extension (v.0.2.5.1) for Mozilla Firefox (v.3.0).
I don't know why, but I had never any problem with this extension any site.
I also use it on your site, but just not for the AJAX (I'm right, am I?) created hyperlinks.
Of course this should somehow concern the extension developer, but I'm just wondering (as a non-geek) why it just doesn't work on that single website / web form?
I didn't deliberately check some other AJAX forms, but I'll do it soon.
Hope I'm not wrong here with my question, if I am, hm, just delete the topic. ;-)

I have this problem, too!
Tell me when someone solves it.

The company believes this isn't a problem.

Inappropriate?I've never used or heard of this extension. What is it supposed to do exactly?

Inappropriate?Yeah, I also noticed this problem, Philipp. I'm a fan of this add-on but I've never been able to open suggested topic links (in a new tab) at GS either. I think I know why this is happening. Please take a look at the screenshot:

As you can see, the link to suggested topic is not absolute. It's relative, meaning that there's no "http://getsatisfaction.com/..." at the beginning of this link. If you try to open the suggested topic link in a new tab, the browser gets confused because it doesn't know what site this link points to. I think that's the reason.
Cameron, the Drag-De-Go firefox add-on gives you some new actions related to links on the webpage. For example, you can grab a link (click and hold left mouse button) and drag it to the right. The result will be that the link will get opened in a new tab. The actions are configurable so you can do lots of things. Read more here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fire...
I’m hoping this can be fixed

Inappropriate?Ah ha! I see now. Thanks, norbiq, for the explanation and screenshot! Next week, we'll be launching an update to the header area for all companies that changes a number of things, including eliminating that particular search box.
Those links were built in a but of a strange way using javascript, and I'm sure that's the source of the issue with Drag-De-Go. I'll see if I can sneak in absolutizing the URLs for Companies and Products when using that dropdown, as well as granting Philipp's request that the query remain while switching modes.
Until next week! I'm off to enjoy my 4th of July...
