Add dc:creator and/or author tag into RSS feeds
Hi,
I would like support and promote GetSatisfaction on LiFE2Front platform, but I need to detect author of each items in to your RSS feeds. And to fetch user simple URL to link them.
I submit add author tag with our display name, and dc:creator with our simple URL name.

Inappropriate? This should be a pretty simple fix, but I'll log a feature request ticket so that we don't miss any of our feeds with this update. I can't promise a date for incorporation, but I think you have a good idea.
Out of curiousity, which feeds are you planning to import into LiFE2Front?
I’m happy to take useful feature requests

Inappropriate? My own feed like mine http://getsatisfaction.com/people/oli...
To include my feedback (to any companies) into my LiFE-Line profile as "blog/note":
http://life2front.com/oliezekat
But I need to ignore items I'm not author ;o)
NB: will apply this for my members whose subscribed to GetSatisfaction... Like Adora/Sophischate. -
Inappropriate?Hey Olivier,
I wanted to give you an update on the status of your feature request. Unfortunately, we won't be doing what you ask for. Here's why:
The author tags should be an email according to the specification. We don't publish the email addresses of users (for spam protection purposes), so we won't be adding the usernames as it goes against the spec.
Secondly, the library we use to generate RSS seems to ignore the dublin core (dc namespaced) attributes.
There is a solution though: use our API! You can find a lot of great information on the API here: http://developers.getsatisfaction.com/
I’m sorry we can't complete your feature request, but happy to update you on the status

Inappropriate?Several Web services define author tag as "noreply@getsatisfaction.com (username)" ... Feed aggreggator ignore mail address and display username only ;o)
I’m amused
