Bug: Lost Admin privileges after successfully claiming site
1: In your user account page, create more than one email address and verify them both, marking one as your primary.
2: Get approved as the Admin for your primary address.
3: Change primary address to non-approved, but verified, email address.
In step one, you are not an admin. In step two you are an admin. In step three you are no longer and admin, even if you switch back to the previous email.
The more people who report this problem, the more it gets noticed.
The company is aware of this problem.

Inappropriate?Thanks, Jaxon, for pointing this out here (and in other spots). Right now, if you change your primary e-mail address, you lose your employee status. It's something we need to fix, and it's on our list, but it's unfortunately not as high in our list of priorities. But, I will try to change that.
But, if you do find yourself stuck in this spot, give me a shout at eric [at] getsatisfaction [dot] com and I'll make the fix for you. It's something that simply has to be done by me at this point, but hopefully, we can get it automated soon. Thanks again for the eagle eye!
