Can I alias a company name to account for different spellings?
My company's name is listed as "SixApart" in the system (the correct spelling is "Six Apart". Can I alias "Six Apart", "Six Apart Ltd.", etc... to be sure that users can find us and don't create multiple separate company listings?

Inappropriate? That's a great question. Are you most concerned about searching from inside Satisfaction or finding it via Google, or something else?
-
Inappropriate?that's definitely something we should do from a search perspective, @ the very least. allow for alternative spellings/presentations.
in the meantime, i changed the company name to "six apart" in the system (though you can do that, too, from the admin page if you're listed as an administrator.)

Inappropriate?Mostly searching within Satisfaction. I want to be sure people searching for "Six Apart" don't give up, and I also want to avoid having to track questions via multiple listings of "Six Apart".

Inappropriate? Thanks! I didn't see that on the admin page. Aliasing would be very helpful -- I suspect we'll see the same with TypePad v. Type Pad, LiveJournal v. Live Journal, etc...
