Can we edit inappropriate tags or topics?

It's rare, but some customers input tags or topics which are inappropriate or not helpful. Is there a way to edit these tags?

For example, here's a post where the "tag" is just a direct copy of the question. It's way too long and throws off formatting when viewing the list of topics/tags associated with Joby:

Well, if you are the person who started the topic, you can remove tags you've added, but that isn't going to help you here, obviously.

We've made progress in encouraging users to tag topics, but some people still get the tag field confused with other fields. In instances like the one you cite, I can remove tags manually. I do weeding like this, and I'm happy to do it on request for you. I know that's not as efficient as it should be, but that's the state right now.
