Could the home page be made more useful for logged-in users?
Here is what the home page of Satisfaction looks to me, as a logged in user:

I'd rather see some version of my dashboard, direct access to the companies I've already commented upon, and maybe even the topic creation bubble...

Yes, this is at the top of my priority list, too! I consider this version of the home page one step up from a placeholder...
We're working on two things--one is a much more useful home page for everyone. Focus on participation and more meaningful exploration right away.
Secondly, we're working on a next-generation dashboard that will actually be the home page for signed-in users. It will address these specific needs you bring up.

We like the idea of setting the homepage as the dashboard for logged in users, but we a very unique purpose for the homepage of Satisfaction. So it looks like we're going to keep the dashboard as your own space and focus the homepage on a more global view of Satisfaction (and take out the what is SFN stuff when you're logged-in :P ). It's going to get really interesting on the homepage when we show you the ecosystem of companies and products. Some products have many companies involved in the processes of making, support, distribution, services, even disposal. And at an even higher level many products work together to support your hobbies, lifestyle or profession. What accessories keep my laptop as mobile(and stylish) as possible? If I'm into crafting where can I get supplies, find ideas, and sell my wares? The homepage can serve as a way to carve into those really interesting slices of Satisfaction, and your dashboard is the repository of what you've taken a bite of, so you can go back for more.
Hopefully we'll find the best times to direct you to the homepage and the best times to land you straight on your dashboard, I'm looking forward to hearing your opinions when we get these big plans rolled out!
