How do I contact my contacts?

Well, you can't. You can participate with them on our site, but all of the discourse on Get Satisfaction is public. We don't have a private messaging system set up, and we may not add one. We're pretty big proponents of having all the conversation in our system be open and transparent. That decision isn't set in stone, though, but it's currently the way things work.

That said, we might add features that do allow you to send messages to your contacts. As we've envisioned it, these contacts won't necessarily be like "friends" you might have on other social networking sites. Rather, they might be better thought of as a group of other people you want to follow or refer to because they always have great answers or expertise that you can tap into when you need advice.

But, as I say, we always want feedback about this, so let us know how you want to use contacts.
