Improve the "Marked as useful" notification
Take a look:

This is the alert after I click "Mark as useful" in the email notification. However, there is no context once I arrive here. It would be useful if you either took me to the comment I'm marking as useful for gave me links: "view comment", "stop following this topic" (basically because I marked the comment useful as it solved my problem).

Now that i've reflected on your comments a bit more, I think you are right. The example of where it works well is the notification you receive after creating a topic. Sure, you can share the topic using the buttons already on the page, but duplicating them in the notification make them much more accessible.
Thanks, as always, for you help and insight!

I guess I think it's useful because I'm looking for "next actions" in the notification box -- since that's where my focus is. To ask me to scan for the "[stop]" link when you already have my attention in the notification box seems a bit demanding (though I acknowledge the point you're making).
The broader problem I think is the flow from the email alert... for one thing, you have no permalink to the comment itself -- only to respond to the comment. For some reason, maybe WordPress trained me otherwise, having a link to JUST THE COMMENT I'm being notified about would be really useful -- when I click through on any of the action links, I guess the next step is to go see what I just reacted to.
Am I weird?

Inappropriate?I can understand the "View comment" secondary action, since we have no other way to jump to the marked comment, but I have to say I'm curious about any other actions. All of the other actions that I can think of (stop following this, email this thread) are available in their usual places, most times before the fold.
Is the duplication actually useful? None of the other actions are actually tied to the act of starring a reply. -
