Is Get Satisfaction right for me?
I work tech for a small company that does mainly engineering work. I was wondering if adding this company to get satisfaction would be a good way to have forums for us to keep track of the problems that we have.
Private forums seem to be nearly useless to us, but I thought maybe if someone from the outside has a way of seeing questions asked as well then we could solve problems faster.

Inappropriate?Hi Todd! Are the problems you want to tackle specific to a small group of techs in your company? Because a private forum seems to be better for that. What did you hope GS might be able to provide that would be more helpful?
-
Inappropriate? Now that i think about it, the only thing we weren't able to do is get outside help, but if we get a hosted solution then it will be more of what we need.
But i do know that the software that everyone in the company uses is a big company, which is listed here and I didn't notice it before so i'll turn there for help

Yup Todd. I was gonna say, in this instance, your smaller internal group might actually be the customers needing support, rather than the providers of support. And therefore finding the right solution might mean just joining an established larger group that's already dealing with the issues you're facing. :-) -
Inappropriate?Todd: Let me know if you have any specific questions. I can even chat with you if you have questions about how other companies that might be like yours use our site. Generally, if you want to bring in other people outside of your internal group, our site is a great way to do it. I suppose it depends on the community you already have and the community you want to end up with. Feel free to pester me with questions. That's what I'm here for!
I’m at your service.

Thank you for such cooperation. I hope to see many companies with great feedback like this site in the future. One question i do have is: Is there a roadmap for features available to the public, or maybe a weekly newsletter to subscribe to? -
Todd: We don't have a newsletter, but you can subscribe to our blog: http://blog.getsatisfaction.com/. We try to keep it fun and readable!
