I will add, Get Satisfaction is an excellent place to write about the issues you've had with any company or service, since that's what it was designed for. We have over 5000 companies in our system where you can ask a question, share an idea, or report a problem, and get responses/help not just from the companies but also from other customers of that product or service who've had the same problem or are experts themselves. And you yourself can help other customers out here, too.
Some examples of companies that are here, listening and responding: Dell, Apple, Comcast, Whole Foods, Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, Kia, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Snapfish, Ebay, Paypal, Jetblue, LinkedIn, Lenovo, and even the American Cancer Society!

Inappropriate?Well, yes and no. This is Get Satisfaction. Twitter was featured on ABC News, which is where I'm guessing you heard about them. Twitter is the microblogging service you can use to send short messages to friends, and some companies do listen in and see what people are saying about their companies.
Twitter uses Get Satisfaction as a place where Twitter users can get together and talk about Twitter. And, Twitter employees participate on Get Satisfaction, too.
I’m hoping this helps explain it
