Nobody understand "reply" to main topic vs. "reply" to another reply
This is purely a usability issue. The product is functioning fine - its just that I've seen most of our users misunderstand "reply" functionality. Clearly there are people that are engaged in a conversation with each other, but they are using the main "reply" button. Not a big deal - just pointing out my observation.

Inappropriate?One thing that I've noticed...
You mostly see people getting this wrong at the bottom of a thread when presented with the main reply to topic box. When in the middle of a thread people get it pretty spot on, they realize that they are replying to a specific reply rather than the topic.
If I remember correctly Leslie's new design for the topic page that is being implemented at the moment addresses this with some better visual cues. -
Inappropriate?Yep, and also new wording... a reply to a reply will be a comment, and that leaves all other replies as replies to a topic.
