One of my topics appears to be an invalid feed
I think I may have broke that topic. Looking at it in Firefox, it looks botched.
Things I may have done: added a bunch of tags, then removed about half of them. Any idea what's going on? Some bad characters I'm sneaking in there?
The more people who report this problem, the more it gets noticed.
The company marked this problem solved.

Inappropriate?I checked out the linked feed using http://feedvalidator.org/ and it looks like there's an & (ampersand) that's not escaped. I'll look a little closer and find the field that's not escaped, though it should be.
It could be a couple hours to a day before this is fixed.
I’m sorry I can't fix it sooner

Inappropriate?Hey there,
Any word on a fix for this? We have a few topics with this ampersand bug.
If there's no quick fix, could you guys maybe edit our topics to replace the ampersand with "and"? I can send you links to the topics which would need the replacement.
Thanks.
I’m cautiously optimistic.

Inappropriate?Sorry I never came full circle on this one. I checked in a fix for unescaped & (and other things that would make XML invalid) and deployed it on June 30th. Are you still experiencing breakages? If you are, the examples will be extremely helpful in tracking down any further problems.
I’m sorry I didn't answer sooner

Inappropriate?Hey Cameron,
Thanks for the update. Is there anything we need to download and update our local help center install, or were the changes you made on your end (i.e. requiring no changes on our part)?
There are a couple topics which still are having problems in our help center. I'm linking to them below:
Zivio Warranty
(on our server)

(on getsatisfaction.com)

Thanks for your help.
I’m hopeful.

Inappropriate? The changes I made were on our end, and the Help Center code doesn't need to be updated. If there is a way to clear Help Center's cache, that may fix the topics where you are still having issues. I'll check out the topics you just reported and see if I can figure out what's causing them to fail.
Sorry you're still having trouble with those particular topics. -
Inappropriate?Hey there,
It looks like the topics are still failing to display on our Help Center. Would it be possible for you guys to actually edit the titles of the two topics I linked to in my last reply?
I know it's a pain to ask you to do a manual edit, but if you could replace the "&" with "and" for us, I'd be exceedingly grateful.
Thanks!
I’m crossing my fingers!

Absolutely, Peter. Give me a few minutes. -
Oh, wait. That's a little more complicated. Let me get back to you, but I'm sure we can do this. -
Okay, easier than I expected. Done! -
Awesome! That fixed it! Thanks so much for doing that for us. FYI, since that fixed the display issue, it appears that ampersands in the topic titles are still preventing topics from being displayed in the Help Center. So it seems the bug still exists. Thanks again for your help! -
Yep, this may not be all solved after all. I'll have our developers take a look.
