Scenario: I'm not logged in, but click Ask a question. I fill out the form, then I'm prompted to Enter my Email. I realize i'm not logged in. I clicked Sign In in the header, but then sent to the home page. I didn't see my question entered, so had to enter my question again. How about provide "sign up or sign in" from the Ask a Question page, and allow people to sign in inline.
