When entering compnay name with camelcase, it split the name into two separate words
Example - EvolvePoint becomes Evolve Point in the system.
I'm sure there are (will be) many exmaples of this. How can it be fixed?
The more people who report this problem, the more it gets noticed.

Inappropriate?I was able to edit the company name after claiming in the admin section, but it's still a bug when entering the company name initially.
I’m undecided

Inappropriate? This is one we've gone back and forth on. It's a fine line between correcting user mistakes and corrupting their input.
For example, if you enter "apple", we switch it to "Apple". The idea being that we will reach a certain point where companies are being created in the system mostly by their customers, and we might need to make a guess at what the proper capatilization is. I'm not sure I hold to that theory anymore.
I'll talk it over with the others and see about removing this.
I’m thankful

Inappropriate? If you leave this as is, I suggest you display a notification to the user that it was done on purpose. I simple message with a link to edit if necessary would be the way to go. Otherwise, you'll keep getting people submitting it as a bug!

Inappropriate?i think we'll change it in the camel-case instance, because there are a lot of those. not sure about ebay -- we may continue to default to capitalizing the first letter, though uncapitalizing the second should disappear along with removing the camel case.

Inappropriate?I agree. When I was creating companies I came across this issue several times. At least it's possible to access your admin page and change it, but it's also annoying.
-
Inappropriate?Ah. Looks like same problem is still happening in "Links".
I’m happy it's been fixed in company names. Should be quick to apply to links :-)

Inappropriate?Yeah, we were just informed of that one here. Thanks for the head's up, though, Casey.
I’m glad Eric's already added it to our bug tracker
