Where can I view, add, remove, and edit my relationships with companies?
I'm sure you are already planning something like this, but I thought I'd still mention it. It is obvious to me that somewhere on the site I should be able to do things like:
- See a list of companies I've added to the website
- See and edit my relationships with companies (e.g., a customer, a fan, a captive... you know, in case they are PayPal and I go from liking them to wanting to stab them in the jaw)
- Create relationships with companies already on the site. Even if I didn't add T-Mobile to the site, I am still a fan.
- See an aggregate of other people's relationships with companies. I'm talking about bar graphs/pie charts as well as just text statements like "Sprint users describe their relationship as: 50% customers, 8% fan, 20% captive ..."

Inappropriate? Those are some great ideas. We are planning to do more with relationships and "favorite companies", etc. Thanks for the thoughts. I'm anxious to hear what our product design team thinks!
I’m not surprised you want to stab PayPal in the jaw

Inappropriate?hi, nick! we're working on pretty much all of this in the next couple of weeks -- probably to launch on the site in the next month or two.
we'll also be allowing you to define relationships with products and people as well as companies, all on your dashboard, and then monitor new activity against all three of those. we just figured it made more sense to get the ability to see and interact with individual companies out first, get some activity going in the system around those, and then once we had a sufficient number of people/posts/companies/products in the system, make it possible to track them.
you know, all this makes me think i should write up a blog post about our plans for the site, so as not to leave people so in the dark. and to thank people for their suggestions, which have really helped us prioritize. i'll do that!
I’m blogging
