Will Get Satisfaction get translated into other languages?
Hi there. First of all, Get Satisfaction is a great service and I would love to use it for my company - however, my company is located in Norway and 99.9% of my customers are Norwegian and I'm pretty sure not all of them would be comfertable with going to an English site to get support.
So my question is - will ever get satisfaction be translated to Norwegian? And if not, would you be interested in a partnership with Norwegian company that could run a Norwegian version of this site?

Hi Kenneth, thanks for the question! While the main site at http://getsatisfaction.com/ will likely be English-only for quite some time (due to our currently limited resources), but that doesn't mean you can't create a completely Norwegian Get Satisfaction.
We've recently released the Get Satisfaction Help Center, which can be used to host a customized interface to the entire Get Satisfaction service in any language and style you like. We offer this as a free, open source PHP application with fairly simple server-side requirements on your end. I think the Help Center will allow you to accomplish your goal.
If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask!
I’m excited

Inappropriate?Hi Kenneth, With our API and now, specifically, Help Center, you can customize a version of Get Satisfaction to embed on your own site. This means you can use any language you like. It's at least a first step in the localization direction.
Let us know if you have any further questions about this. There are others on our team who can give you a more technical answer.
I’m excited to see GS in multiple languages.

Inappropriate? Is it really tht resource expensive to have multiple languages? Once you create a language file sure users will even translate it for you. I will translate it to spanish if I can.
The reason we choose get satisfaction is becauso we don't wanna host it ourselves!
I’m shocked

Inappropriate?anabelle, I look forward to the day when we can have multiple translations. We're a small team that's doing a ton of development, and we have to chart our course carefully. We've got a wealth of ideas to implement, and many of them include, well, services for companies which we can ultimately charge for. We'd love to focus on language translation, but we have to put a few projects in front of that. Our site hasn't been live for a year yet, and we've already made incredible progress, so I know it's something we can accomplish. But, we do have to prioritize.

Inappropriate?I was about to post a new idea suggesting 'Get Satisfaction' translation to as many languages as possible with help from your users. I'm up for the spanish translation, I will help as much as possible!
I’m excited

Thanks, Verónica! We look forward to taking you up on your offer :) -
That's exactly what I was thinking... If you can provide an infrastructure for translators, I'm sure there's more than enough people that will be happy to help! (I’m —sometimes— available for Dutch and French).
