XML Data Dump?
Do you guys offer an XML data dump if we ever wanted to take some of the data and use it ourselves, etc of all the topics and questions that people ask us on here?

We're opening a REST-based API shortly through which you can pull exactly that content for use on your site. It will provide most of the functionality available on this site so the sky's the limit on what you could do with it.

Could I, for example, take some other open source trouble ticketing system, and have it integrate with GSFN wherein new posts on GSFN appear to be tickets (but have a note that they are public), and perhaps using oauth get the user to take sensitive information 'private' and verify they're the user due to oauth?

Inappropriate?We don't currently have any systems in place for recording private data on a per-topic basis.
You could, however, fake it by keeping the private data in your own database and then only pushing public data back into GSFN.

That was what I meant, a way to merge public and private together and also tell the user hello we would like to take it private, use oauth from getsatisfaction to verify you're the one who posted the complaint and then we'll continue it from there
