What about having the login screen in the beginning, and having the option to rate the company from the app?

Inappropriate?Thanks for the idea. I think it'd be a good feature to rate the company from within the app. I don't think this is exposed through Get Satisfaction's current API, though, so it may be some time before we could implement this.
I agree that the current login process is not ideal. I'd like to find a way to make it smoother (yet still secure). My reason for currently not prompting for login immediately is to let the user get acquainted with the app before going through the jarring login process of jumping out to Safari. I may need to reevaluate this in the future.

Inappropriate?Seconded, I think it would be really useful if you're out and about, and want to quickly rate a company you've just used.
You could have a button that lets you say "I'm a Customer!" (like you can on the GS website), and then once you're added as a customer, you can then rate the company from 1 -10.
