the mp3 player has vanished
when i upload an mp3, it no longer comes up in a nice little flash player. has the player been removed? if so, is there a plan to bring it back?

Inappropriate?yes... that was posted 10 days ago. i believe it was after that that the player stopped appearing on new posts. i've uploaded several mp3s which haven't come up in a player, but here's the most recent: http://schmownce.com/phill_harding/po...
and i've also had the same problem with mp3s others have sent to me.

Inappropriate?still no sign of the mp3 player on my page, and friends say my mp3s are coming through at their end as just files to download.
so. i'm wondering how you're getting on with this. any sign of it being fixed soon? that mp3 player is one of my main reasons for using pownce / schmownce.
anyway. keeping my fingers crossed!

it's brilliant. i could start to build up my little community of sonic artists again. pownce was an excellent platform for dialogue and exchange in this niche area, and i know schmownce could be the ideal replacement for that, except that i've unfortunately lost my broadband connection [temporarily, i hope], so i'm not currently in a position to upload anything, hence i haven't invited anyone to join me on schmownce yet.
thanks loads for taking the mp3 player issue seriously. wish i was able to be making use of the service right now!

we have fixed the inline MP3 player. previously it was not recognizing all mp3 files based on the file format.
