I set up a profile earlier today but I haven't yet received a confirmation email. It's not in my spam folder.

Inappropriate?Confirmation emails can be resent by logging into the site, and clicking the "resend confirmation e-mail" link that will be displayed on most pages.
Sometimes, we get things a little wrong, and a technical glitch is going to prevent our email from being delivered. Normally we will catch these quickly, and they will only be in effect for a short time. In most cases, confirmation emails will automatically be delivered once things are fixed.

Inappropriate?On around January 14 2009, we changed the computer that sends our email, and, unfortunately, many email services have been refusing to accept mail from us. This has now been fixed, but it may take a few hours before email gets through again.
I hope this has not caused too much hassle.
