[Blackberry Curve 8330 4.5.0.89] I'm unable to use the SYM key. The menu comes up but you can't choose any of the characters.
I can move the cursor around but clicking does nothing.
I’m not a dealbreaker.

I have the same problem. Ver 0.0.4 on Curve 8300. Also, I got it to accept my key once, but now it says it's invalid. -
Inappropriate?I just hit this on my 8330 Curve, v4.3.0.127. My workaround is to compose in the Memopad, select and copy, then paste it in.

Inappropriate?I had this problem running version 0.0.4 on my Curve, and it persists in 0.0.4 and 0.0.5 on my new Bold. Platform 4.0.0.17.
I've also noticed that some autotext (such as contractions) work, but others (two spaces to end a sentence, automatic capitalization of new sentence) don't. Related?
