No Joy with the BlackBerry Curve 8330 (Verizon) and 0.4
I have a BlackBerry Curve 8330 (Verizon). I installed BlackPing, went to preferences, added my mobile key. Finally figured out to use the back button to get the save dialog, it said it verified the key, and to wait while it downloaded options from Ping.fm (I presume to get my methods). I waited and waited, went to lunch, still no change.
Attempting to navigate around, I ended up accidentally resubmitting the same mobile key which of course was invalid at that point. Generated a new mobile key, and now no matter what I do, it says the key is not found (message: Your User Application Key could not be validated. (APP_KEY: Mobile key not found.)
I tried with two separate mobile keys, same problem. So I'm giving up at this point.

Inappropriate?I also had problems at first, but after trying a few times it finally worked, and has worked ever since. (In fact, I just reset my key and entered in a new key and it worked fine), and I also have a Blackberry 8330 (Verizon), so try again, and make sure you are copying the key correctly. -

Inappropriate?I discovered that I had to cancel out multiple times until it decided I had never entered a key, got a new mobile key and entered it, said it was good, went to the screen about uploading options from ping.fm, hung there, and I can't get it to do anything else now. Pressing the menu button only gives me a select option.

Inappropriate?I too had to try this a couple times for it to take, but it was up and running in only five minutes tops.
