Problem with PingFire and NoScript.
We've had at least one person report a problem with PingFire and the NoScript extension. We are aware of this issue, but we still need to research the cause before we can release an update.
So far we've heard two variations of this incompatibility.
1. Unable to click the PingFire button.
2. Able to click the button, but the Ping window does not disappear and the Ping never gets sent.
If you are running into this issue, please reply to this thread with as many details as you can. Posts here will help us determine how urgently a solution is needed.

Inappropriate?I have deaktivated all other addons.
I am running only NoScript 1.8.7.4 and PingFire 1.0.1
When I click the PingFire button in the toolbar, nothing happens.
As soons as I deaktivate the NoScript addon and restart Firefox, PingFire works.
Firefox 3.0.4 German
Windows XP Pro SP3 German
NoScript 1.8.7.4
PingFire 1.0.1
What else do you need to know?

Inappropriate?I've had that same problem and have tried a few solutions within the No-Script add-on (tinkered with options) -- nothing has worked. The only way I have found to run Pingfire 1.0.1 is to disable NoScript 1.8.7.4 while running Firefox 3.0.4. I would appreciate a "whitelist" style solution that would enable me to run Pingfire and NoScript together and look forward to a solution.

Same as hannesd, clicking on the P button doesn't do anything. Other buttons (like the ones from Delicious extension, or WebDeveloper toolbar) work ok.
