I just bought this program, but there is an error message on every song i try to rip onto my hard drive. the error message is 1700. Is there a fix for this?
I have a few playlists on my ipod that I want to get onto a IPhone. Several of them are music from a friend.
1) Will I be able to transfer these onto my mac and will they play?
2) Will I then be able to transfer all music from the combined playlists on my Mac to a IPhone?
3) Is there anyway to go directly from IPod to IPhone?
I keep getting a Transfer Errors message when trying to transfer my songs from PodWorks to my Itunes. I've tried to "Re-transfer Selected" but I just keep getting a continuous circle of the same message. No songs appear in my iTunes. How can I transfer my songs ?
I have just purchased Podworks. I am trying to transfer songs form an iPod and an iPhone to iTunes 7.7.1. Every song that I try to transfer fails with the following warning:
-10006: iTunes got an error: Can't set library playlist id 5668 of source id 47 to file track
I am receiving the same error for any song transfer that I attempt from either the iPod or the iPhone.
I must have accidently erased a lot of music when I tried to copy some onto my external hard drive. Is there an easy way to determine what music needs to be copied from my ipod and which songs don't? Or do I have to copy the whole ipod using podworks and tediously find multiples?
i accidentally registered it under a wrong serial name and need to put in the serial number i paid for but i don't know how to change it. how do i change the registration info?
trying to import songs from my ipod to my apple laptop. I open Podworks 2.9.2, select my ipod but no directions. I select all songs and click "send all to itunes" but I get an error message "Unable to locate or compile send to iTunes script". How do I proceed? I can click copy all songs but they are not recognized by itunes once copied onto my hard drive. Help?
I paid for, but was never sent, Podworks. I did receive an registration number, however. Who can I contact to get the program? Since they provide no contact number, are they honest?

Hi, my pc died before i could backup my itunes library to disc. Then my second computer (a mbp) was stolen along with all my recent itunes backup discs. Now, I'm scared that one day my ipod wil die and I'll lose all the playlists and music that I've spent countless hours organizing and copying from my huge collection of cds. I want to make sure that before I attempt to copy anything from my ipod using podworks that itunes 7.5/leopard won't damage or erase any of my songs or playlists that are currently on my 5.5 gen 80 gig ipod. I have my ipod set up so that I manually update playlists. I'm not suer if my ipod has disc use enabled or not - the box inext to the dic use option has an "x" in it, but when my ipod is set up for manual update/syncing I can't tell if the disc use option is enabled or not (though it looks to be, but for some reason when manual update is selected, the option to change the disc use settings is not accessible). Also, I have my itunes preferences set to never auto sync with any device and my I have my ipod set to not auto open itunes when its connected to a computer. Oh, and my ipod is formatted for windows as I originally owned a pc. Are these settings ok/safe? Is there anything else I should do before I I copy music from my ipod to my computer with podworks (I purchased it already)? I can't afford to lose any of my music, so any help is GREATLY appreciated!
I've used PodWorks couple weeks ago downloading music from my iPod to my MacBook. It worked perfectly and I was happy. I put songs from iTunes from my MacBook to my shuffle without problems. But today I downloaded album covers from iTunes store and realised that all my sound files are no longer on my MacBook but still showing (with an error message) in my iTunes Library. All song files are gone - except the ones I've downloaded from 4 CD's in the last couple days. Do you have any idea? thanks....
I downloaded Podworks, then installed it and connected my ipod. It showed up and I clicked "copy to iTunes". Then it deleted everything from my ipod. This is horrible, because the reason I needed to copy 60 gigs of songs and video to my laptop is because my hard drive crashed and I lost it all. Now I also lost everything I had on my ipod. Help!
I just downloaded my music from my ipod 30g video to my itunes 7.6.1 onto my brand new (3 day old) macbook. Nearly half of the albums play around 12 seconds of each song then move on to the next song. Some of the songs also skip. I used to have a PC and switched to a Mac when PC died. What's the deal? Anyone else encounter this issue? Anyone know how to fix it? I am using the newest version of podworks and have the full version.
my friend has 300 albums in her Itunes library. I would like to download them onto my library without having to do an erase and synch with my itunes. Can I do it with Pod Works?
