Do I sync after transferring music to itunes?
I've successfully transferred my songs into itunes, but now when I plug in my ipod it asks me if I want to sync it to this computer (it's a new one, my old one crashed). I'm nervous because it warns me it's going to erase my ipod, but it seems I can't add new music to my ipod unless I do the sync.

Inappropriate?As long as all your music has been transferred into iTunes *before* you do the sync, you should be fine. You're going to need to eventually do the sync to get your iPod linked to your new computer, but if all your music is already there, you should be fine.
