iPod unrecognized by iTunes and PodWorks?
While I was transferring files from my iPod to my iMac, the program froze up about a quarter of the way through my files. After waiting for about fifteen minutes, I force quit PodWorks. Since then iTunes can't read the files on my iPod and is telling me to reset it to the factory settings, and PodWorks either won't recognize it or shuts itself down immediately after I open it. However, my iPod still works and has all the files on it, intact and uncorrupted. Is there anything I can do other than lose all the files that didn't finish transferring?

Inappropriate?Hmm--are you sure your iPod is still in disk mode (see PodWorks Help for info on how to make sure it is)?

Inappropriate?Yes. It appears on my desktop with the correct name, and I can open it and access my calendars and notes and such. However, iTunes can't read the files and marks it as named "IPOD" and PodWorks doesn't recognize it at all.
