Playlist transfer?
I've tried a few times now, but I just can't get my playlists to transfer with my music...am I forgetting a setting here?

Inappropriate? You should be able to simply click on a playlist, go to the "Pod" menu, and say "Recreate selected playlist in iTunes." That could be more clear, I'll admit--I'll work on that in PodWorks 3.
I’m confident

Inappropriate?i did the thng, but when i go to recreate... it is not clickable-help!
-
Inappropriate?Your problem is probably that playlist transfers are disabled in the unregistered version. I realize this is a bit unclear and will probably change what's disabled in the trial version in the next major PodWorks version.

Inappropriate?I am trying to copy playlists with a registered version of the software and i do not see either the "pod" menu or the :recreate selected playlists" - please advise. Thanks
-
Inappropriate?Nevermind - I found it!

Inappropriate?hi Official Rep,
i've been using podworks (registered) for a while and transfer playlists used to work. now it stopped. i use the recreate option and it looks like it's copying the songs (very slowly even after they've already been copied once) and the playlist never appears in iTunes. any ideas?
I’m anxious

Inappropriate? You have to actually use the "Recreate Selected Playlist in iTunes function" under the "Pod" menu to send a playlist to iTUnes.

Inappropriate?hi buzz. that is exactly what i am doing. i'm using the "Recreate Selected Playlist in iTunes" function. This is in version 2.9.2. I've been using PodWorks for about 6 months and it's always worked before. (love this product as it allows me to use my ipod like an external drive so i don't have to keep 10s of GBs of music on my mbr)
one new variable, however, is that i used to have a 4G ipod (which worked flawlessly) and i recently replaced it with an ipod Classic. i was able to get iTunes to recognize all the tracks on the classic, but have not had any luck recreating playlists beyond the first two.
is it possible that this is an ipod classic issue?
one interesting side note is that the playlists are not sorted the way they used to be when i had my 4G plugged in. i can't verify with the 4G because it has died (hence the classic replacement).
I’m thinking out loud

Inappropriate?I hit the "Recreate Selected Playlist in iTunes function", but my computer tells me that it is unable to transfer music to itunes.
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?Suggestion - permit highlighting one or more playlists in the app and then command it to "recreate". It is tedious to have to do it one-by-one (but possible and it works). OR - permit a "Recreate All Playlists" command with duplicate checking just as you do in the music transfer.
Thanks! -
Inappropriate? The multiple playlist transfer thing won't be in the next release, but probably the release after that. The next release will, however, have duplicate checking that works much better for playlists.

Inappropriate? Is there a method to pull off the pictures on the ipod?
