PodWorks 2.9.3 Beta 1
Just a quick note to let everyone know I've got a beta of PodWorks 2.9.3 ready for people to try. It's not completely done, but the bulk of the functionality is in and I'd like to get people's feedback before I do a wider release.

New in this release (so far):
- Fixed (hopefully) the bugs with "Show Only Songs Not in iTunes."
- Added a check to makes sure iTunes is responsive before trying a transfer, and an error message to let the user know if it's not.
- Completely revamped the "Send to iTunes" AppleScript, to hopefully make it much more robust and error tolerant.
- Made it so that PodWorks no longer stops the entire transfer just because it encounters an AppleScript error on one song.
- Implemented a new transfer error window that shows a summary of every error that occurred in a transfer, and gives the user the option of retrying the transfer for all or some of the songs in question.
Try it out and let me know (preferably through Satisfaction) how it works for you!

Inappropriate?Hi Buzz - the "Show Only Songs Not in iTunes" is better but not perfect. If the answer should be zero (=the null set) i.e. all songs are everywhere, the beta still returns one item. Not sure how it is selecting that one, but clearly it doesn't like returning nothing!

So certainly the fact that song and Artist begin with A might be interesting, but actually Abdullah Ibrahim should be the first artist in alpha order and "A.I.R" by Jan Garbarek should be the first song in alpha order. -

Inappropriate?And that is the answer -- I removed the quotes in the title, resynched, and podworks responded perfectly by returning the null set.
So - no big deal but leading quotes (or maybe any special character) cause confusion

Inappropriate?couple of problems:
1. during Recreate Playlist to itunes, something in the script causes itunes to regain focus with each song. this basically locks up your machine during the copy! someone was trying to IM me but I could not respond ;)
2. ratings and playcounts did not get copied
3. the playlist doesn't actually get recreated, the songs got copied, but the playlist itself did not (yes, i used Apple+Shift+T aka Recreate Playlist). this is on an iPod Classic and it doesn't work in 2.9.2 either (but worked great with an iPod 4G)
