It will be cool if the thumbnail and also the image, when you submit an url or a post from an other website, are the original pages and not a \"default page\" from the site ...!

Inappropriate?Yes, this is a feasible idea. Right now we get thumbs from Thumbshots, but I think in the future we may switch to a service that gives more specific thumbs or just capture the previews ourselves.
In general, we want the previews to be as rich, live and current as possible. For media services like YouTube this is easy because they provide embed codes for us. For web pages it's a bit more difficult. Perhaps there is something we could do with RSS to get even better previews than images.
