Why no feed consumption anymore?
Have I gone mad or something?
After the site change, you no longer consume my specified feeds. Is this deliberate? Or have I missed something?
By stopping this feed consumption you force me to choose between you and other sites, particulalry for bookmarks. I am afraid you loose this choice. Also for non link items, content needs to be published elsewhere such as on a blog, or in a photo-sharing site.
I had begun to work out a use case for secondbrain but this makes it very difficult.

Inappropriate? You are right that we have stopped consuming feeds. This was a forced move due to a necessary simplification of the product model. The scope of the system had grown too large for our small team and the interface had become too cluttered.
The cancellation of the feed synchronization is temporary though. We plan to reintroduce a simpler and smarter method for syncing with the most popular social media sites at a later stage.
In the mean time, we do provide bookmarking features.
If you have any suggestions on how you would prefer the synchronization to operate in the new interface, I would be thankful for any feedback that you might have.
