I'm getting closer moving full steam ahead on getting a 4.0 version of Check Off built for everyone to enjoy. The original Check Off codebase was built in the 10.2/Jaguar days, so I'm using this opportunity to wipe the slate clean and start from scratch.
What I'd like to know is the following:
1. What you really like about Check Off 3
2. What you really dislike about Check Off 3
3. What could I add to Check Off 4 that would make it your preferred quick todo list?
In my first 10 minutes of using Today, I would suggest the following:
All-day items should definitely not be listed as 12am - 12am -- it gives them the same look and feel as your appointments for the day, and it's visually confusing (and the whole point of an all day designation is that there is no associated time with it). They should just be listed first with no times.
I definitely agree that we should be able to select which calendars to show in Today.
Lastly, the event boxes (and to a lesser extent the font) is just too huge for me. Same thing with the task boxes. At least get rid of all that blank space in the boxes, because I doubt people want to give up that much screen real estate.
