It would be nice if you could adjust the opacity of the today window. Just a little slider in the preferences so it looks better on the desktop

Inappropriate?It would be really nice to have this available, then I'd be able to use the "float on top of other apps" on my MacBook and not lose so much screen real estate.

I too would like to see transparency/translucency as an option. Without it, the Today window is just another window cluttering my screen.
