Changing the appearance of the events

Hi,
I am new user and I like the possiility to add new events to iCal and read them on top of my desk. But my problem is a problem of size.

The windows which shows the events is too big and I would like to change the appearance as it is possible with Check Off software for example.

We should change the size font for the events, change the height of the rows. That could help to reduce the size of the window.
