Hide Today on startup

I was wondering if it would be possible to launch Today in the background on Startup. I like having Today on a different Space than my main Space but when I boot up, and Today launches, I get jumped to that Space. Then I have to switch back to the main space. Just kind of annoying, in my opinion.

Since the menu icon is always available, I would love an option to keep Today in the background until I click the menu icon.

This obviously isn't a huge issue - just a suggestion. I find the program very useful. Thanks and keep up the good work!
