Inappropriate? Thanks for the suggestions. These are all things that are definitely on the todo list. #6 is already implemented to 1.0.1. Look for it next week.
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?I will second suggestion #3 iCal calendar select. I have a few calendars that I subscribe to but don't always care to see every day. Can't turn their listings on/off in Today right now (e.g. Apple store event calendars). Otherwise, looks pretty neat.
I’m hopeful
-
It would be nice if, in the Preferences, you could select which calendars that you wanted shown in the day view. -
Inappropriate?I just downloaded the program and the first thing I noticed is the inability to select which calendars I want to view. I have a lot of calendars that remind me of things like taking medication that I don't have set to view in iCal. They are there for one purpose only - to trigger alarms. I don't want to see them in "Today." Nice interface though.
I’m uncertain about buying
-
Calendar filtering is on the docket for Today 1.1. -
Inappropriate?I would like to add that knowing which items were due yesterday (leftovers) would be useful. Sometimes things slip through the cracks, and it would be handy to know which ones those are.
I’m looking for a way to get a kick in the pants when I'm being lazy
-
I tried to add this in for 1.0, but it was limited by Apple's calendarstore implementation. You can't write custom queries against the calendarstore as of yet. Once you can, I have full intentions of revising the functionality to address this. -
Inappropriate?I'd like to be able to Cmd+drag the menu bar icon to rearrange it relative to my other icons. This is a common feature, but I'm not sure what enables/limits that functionality.
FANTASTIC v1.0, by the way. I only recently was weaned from Entourage, and was already hooked on My Day from Office 2008. Today looks like a fantastic replacement, with future improvements down the road. Thanks!
I’m nigh giddy
-
I'd love to enable the cmd-drag stuff, but it's limited by the API's Apple provides. You'll notice the only draggable items are Apple ones. It's because they don't provide developers with an updated API to do it on our own. -
Inappropriate?iSlayer's menu bar version of iStat is draggable ... I guess they may be using some sort of "cracker" in conjunction with that product, though.
-
If they're using NSStatusItem (the apple-approved method), there's no way. They may be using the NSMenuExtra class, which is undocumented and, thus, not supported. I don't like using undocumented stuff because Apple can change it at their will and in turn screw up my app.
