Refresh display as time marches forward.
Today doesn't "refresh." Surely this is possible? Each day I have to manually refresh Today by clicking the "toolbar"/"header" area of the Today display to have the whole window be today. Not a major PITA but still, not the most elegant thing.

Inappropriate?I've had a lengthy discussion with a few people about this, and I'm going to modify the behavior in 1.2 to automatically move the date forward if the user has not modified the date they are viewing.
In other words, if Today is May 14 and Today is on the 14th, it will jump to the 15th at midnight. If you're on the 12th or 16th, however, it won't move. -
I came to the support site looking for an answer to this problem as well, so one more vote for the idea of adding this feature :) -
Inappropriate?Sounds good. And right.

Inappropriate? Can this be added as a preference? I got duped today because before I went to bed last night, I was looking a few days ahead at my calendar via Today. When I got to the office this morning, I didn't notice that the Today calendar was on the wrong day. I ended up missing an appointment due to my lack of attention to detail. It just seems like most people would want to automatically switch to the current date. I personally would like the date to switch automatically at 4:00 am no matter what date I may have been viewing.
-
I'll consider it. I haven't gotten to implementing this just yet. -
Inappropriate? It would help if there was some visual clue that you're looking at past or future data - whether or not moving on was automatic, it would help interpret what's being displayed at a glance.
-
More than the actual date being visible in the date navigator? If I were to change that, how would you want it to look? -
Inappropriate?"Today" is quite useless to me unless it AUTO CHANGES with the current date !!!
I will wait to see if you can upgrade the program, otherwise I will trash it.
