Show Icon in Dock and Menubar as an actual preference
I found this earlier discussion of a user wanting to show Today in the Dock and the Menu bar, and Justin pointed out a way to edit the plist file to make that happen, but can we get this as a supported preference in the pane?

I initially turned off the dock icon, then realized I had no idea what the keyboard shortcuts were for anything, so I switched back to the dock version so I got a proper menu bar to inspect what was available.
I guess a different request would be to take the menu bar back when Today is the frontmost window, yet only has its icon in the menu bar.

Inappropriate?I'll consider it, though I'm not exactly sold on the benefits of having both. It seems like an added layer of complexity without much payoff.

Inappropriate? The only reason I really needed it was for the shortcuts since I'm a keyboard guy and I love that I can bring up Today with a global keyboard shortcut, but I was too quick to make it menu bar only before I knew the shortcut keys.
Turning it back to Dock for a cycle so I could look at the menus and keyboard shortcuts got me going and I flipped it back.
I understand if you don't want to complicate things.
I’m thankful
