Inappropriate?Go to the Preference pane and reset the dock menu preference.
-
Inappropriate?I don't see a preference related to the dock. Just the Menu Bar.
-
Inappropriate?Today defaults to showing in the Dock. the menu bar is a supplementary view. Uncheck the preference for "Show Today in menu bar." Click No when it asks to restart. Recheck the preference. Click yes to restart.

Inappropriate?Ah, gotcha. Well that didn't work either. Still showing in the dock too.

Inappropriate?Looks like a bug crept in. If you check for an update via the Preference pane, it will let you redownload the revised 1.0.1 update. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Inappropriate?Hey, no worries. It appears to be fixed. Keep up the great work.

Inappropriate?Thank you for reporting the issue. :)

Inappropriate?Heh, I like having both menu bar and dock active at once, but realized it was a mistake when I saw the changes to the preferences.
I'm not sure it's worthwhile to have an official "support both at once" preference; in my case, I like to have both on so I can experiment with both methods as I'm testing out the application to see which I prefer better. Eventually I'd probably settle on one or the other anyway -- probably the dock configuration in my case, as I can switch using Command-Tab, which you lose when you have menu bar only.
I’m waking up.

Inappropriate?raven: you can hack it together on your own. Enable the Dock menu item and then quit the app. Open the Today.app bundle and edit the Info.plist file so that LSUIElement is set to 0 instead of 1.
You'll have to reset this each time you update, but it will achieve what you're looking for. -
Inappropriate?Ah, cool, that works. That's a good solution, as it doesn't clutter up the preferences. Most people I think will be happy with either/or and not need both.

Inappropriate?I think I have worked around the issue so you don't have to update the preference each time. The app itself defaults to menu-bar mode and then based on the user's preference runs a carbon call that transforms it into a dock-based application. I'll be sending it out to the 1.1 beta testers once I get enough people to make it worthwhile.

Inappropriate?I haven't paid for it yet. But. OK lots of info here if anyone wants to help.wow. I just saw this today and can't find it now except when I start up. I like it but can't change prefs nor do I see it anywhere. Only the demo version on desktop but doesn't show on desktop or spotlight. ??? How to change to month view? How to sync? It seems as though it is a great thing. Does it always stay above all apps? I guess you could put it in a space? Leopard is GREAT and Leopard .... OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO sometimes I wanna throw the computer out the window. We Mac Freaks are so used to never a glitch and wow Leopard is problem city. I don't think they should have released it until they tried it out for a long while with beta testers... or testers.... Even other companies that make software like Aladdin now called Allume is not ready. But Stuffit works. Also I see no animations nor slide shows unless I make it with Microsoft or AOL? And Leopard changed all my animations to jpeg's. lots of info, no? I have more. LOL. If you think you could help, please email me at srobert001@dc.rr.com. In subject line put Apple board or somthing so I will know not to throw it away or mark it junk. Thanks Everybody. OK thanks
I’m frustrated totally at apple unsure and silly..hehe
