FriendFeed comments and likes taking up redundant space when no content yet available.

I love the layout of the latest rev of Twhirl, but for FriendFeed I see lots of redundant "no comments yet" and "no likes yet" lines repeating down the window and taking up space to reduce the number of events I can scan in one pageful.

I'd like it better if these were compacted up as side-by-side @ and [heart] buttons in the avatar / name / time bar for each event. Then, only show the in-context replies and likes when there's something to show.

    Friendfeed comment system idea

For Frendeed, because of the nature of the comment system, it would be pretty cool if you could somehow show this in the toast. Something like a little link graphc, or a speak bubble style graphic, or something along those lines that shows the original post, then a comment above or below it showing a connection.

Video Comments on Blog not Private.

I am using the Seesmic plug in for video comments on my blog http://brentinworship.com/blog

It looks as if video's created on my blog go into the Seesmic public timeline. today one of my readers received via email a video response to their video. It freaked them out a bit.

Is there anyway to make the video comments from my site private or not allowed into the timeline. If not, this is a major glitch in my mind.

Comments stall at "Please wait while Seesmic is completing the post" Last reply on May 30, 2008 20:14.

Video posts work fine, but the comments hang at "Please wait while Seesmic is completing the post". Based on others' issues with this, I need to change my comments definition in my theme and I can do that, I just don't know what to change. the url for my site is:

Move Seesmic Up So I Can See It!

Thanks for the WP plugin, awesome! Works great, one small thing, ok big thing for me and other Seesmicians.

Integrate Seesmic Video in WP into the Editor or a Button that is easier to find, I almost missed it because it so is far down below the text editor! Spoke to other Seesmicians who have used the WP plugin and feel the same way. It will make us so happy!

Also like to see the Seesmic video comment a little bit higher and closer to the text comment box. Do that and I will be a raving fan of the WP plugin!

Can make a video post, but video comments are not available Last reply on May 02, 2008 12:51.

I have the latest version of the WordPress plugin on my blog, 0.8, and I am finally able to record video posts, but I don't have the option to record a video comment. I am pretty sure that there is a problem with the theme, because when I change the theme, it works. Is there something that I could change in my theme to make the video comment button work?

    Here is my site:

Let me know if anymore information is needed!

Refreshing the page causes all comments to play Last reply on April 27, 2008 23:08.

Refreshing the page after having watched a few WP Video comments causes all comments to start playing simultaneously. For instance, I watched the TechCrunch announcement page, then clicked my StumbleUpon button by accident, then clicked the 'back' button, and all videos started at the same time.
