Recently active topics in Seesmic tagged with windows xp

Twhirl restarted my PC half way through the installation and hence, the installation could not be completed and I'm unable to use twhirl on my Windows XP SP2 PC.

is there some special setting on a windowsXP box to record in seesmic while behind a work firewall? i can record on seesmic.com on my macbookPro, but not my work machine, and it's on the same network. (both are connected to the work network using an ethernet switch) i've tried two different cameras on my work computer and both will record, but then won't give me a preview and won't save the video. (the status bar hangs on "transferring data from *.seesmic.com")

i wonder if this is a setting on my windows computer that i can change? (but i honestly don't know enough about windows machines.... ugh!) i'm assuming that this has to do with the connection, since it will record the video fine.. but then just not post it.

any ideas of what could be happening?
