Add Auto Spell Check
The only thing holding me back from switching from Twitterrific to Twhirl is the lack of auto spell check. I know that AIR apps can't utilize the OS spell check but this is built specifically to add Spell check to AIR apps:

Hi jason, thanks for checking back in. I missed this one the first time through. I'm checking in with our twhirl developer to see if/when this could get added. I'll update here as soon as I know. -
Inappropriate?Hey Jason, I have a bit of an update for you. It looks like the part that has us a little gunshy on implementing that solution is that we are working pretty hard to maintain international support. So, until that (or another) solution includes support for many major languages, we would need to hold off.
I’m hopeful

If you're adding a spell checker, please give me the option to turn it off. At 140 characters, it just doesn't seem necessary and the words I need help with likely won't be there anyway. -
Inappropriate?I, too, would like to see the option to have auto-spell-check in Twhirl. Some people don't want it, so the simple solution is to allow it to be turned on an off.
I understand the desire to have multiple languages supported, but that can't be too hard, right? I'm not a developer by any stretch of the imagination, but once you have the foundation of the code that actually executes the spell-checking, isn't it basically just a matter of having an option of relying on a different dictionary/language?
Anyway, it might not be the biggest fish you have to fry right now, but I would be pleased to see it.
I’m happy

Inappropriate?Ditto - this is the only thing keeping me from switching from Twitterific.
I’m waiting

Inappropriate?Aye! I'd be mighty grateful if Twhirl adds spellcheck.

Inappropriate? Why not add English now and more languages as you can? I don't know why this _has_ to be an "all or nothing" approach. Supporting every language is probably going to make this as a permanent "nothing" with this approach.
I’m confused

Inappropriate? This is also the only thing keeping me from switching from twitteriffic, and I really, really want to.
I’m anxious

HI Jason, thanks for checking in again. No specific updates for you yet. We're definitely keeping this in consideration. -
TweetDeck has a spell checker built in. www.tweetdeck.com -
Inappropriate?I've tried Tweetdeck and find it difficult to use. I much prefer Twhirl.
