Configuration window was working - now it doesn't

I click on the options (wheel) icon. The focus goes from the current window and nothing happens i.e. the options sub-window does not appear. Running on Mac/Leopard. Was working, now not. Have re-booted and no change. Can still tweet, but can't configure.
