High CPU usage / unresponsive in v0.8.7 with latest AIR update

After I updated to the latest version of adobe AIR, Twhirl started to have a Very high CPU usage - between 40 & 70%%, and would become unresponsive. I am running the current version of air, and am running the latest twhirl as well, 0.8.7. I did not get this with the old version of air, and have tried uninstalling & reinstallign twhirl with the same result. Is there a new version coming that might help? or am I one of the few having the issue?
