Impossible to record in the wordpress plugin
Defining the "Privacy settings" in the "flash player settings" is not working under my configuration. So, It's not possible to access the webcam and to record.
According to my investigations, it seems to come from that there is no sub-domain in the player URL.
I don't really know if the problem comes from the OS (Windows Vista), the flash player version (V 9) or the webcam driver (a Dell camera inserted in the screen).
The problem does'nt appear on 2 other computers i could test : windows XP and Linux OpenSuse (with the same version of Flash)
I made a local copy of your version.js script (http://www.mediablue.fr/seesmic_versi...) adding the www. at the beginning of the players URLs and it works fine.
It doesn't solve the problem because this scripts is called only in my own personalized version of the plugin (http://blog.mediablue.net).

Inappropriate?I've forwarded your comments and information to the developer of the plugin and I'll check with him later to see what response and/or questions he has.
Thanks for reporting this and for giving a lot of detail in your post.
I’m concerned

Inappropriate?OK, I have found a solution :
In the Adobe's website, there is a section that show the entire flash parameters manager (http://www.macromedia.com/support/doc...)
There, you can manualy allow access for each website.
I selected seesmic.com (without WWW) and everythings get OK.
I’m happy
