Links not launching when clicked.
I have my default browser set to Camino.
Clicking on a link tweeted by a user doesn't launch the browser to the appropriate link.
The browser just sits and does nothing.

Hi,
thanks for your report. Opening a URL is handled by the Adobe AIR runtime, and cannot be controlled by twhirl. There have been quite a few reports that the combination of AIR and Camino as default browser leads to problems quite often.
For now, there is no workaround that I know of, so we have to wait and see if an upcoming version of Camino or AIR will solve this issue.
I’m sorry

Inappropriate?hey all:
i am using Firefox on Windows XP. I reinstalled Firefox recently and then my Twhirl links wouldn't work. I went into my 'set program access and defaults' area and then made sure FIREFOX browser was selected, not just 'default browser' or 'current browser' and then closed. Links worked again.

Inappropriate?Same problem here except my default browser is Safari. A link will open up a new tab but it always shows an URL error.
I’m dissapointed
-
What is the text of the error? -
@Thomas Knoll: "Not Found The requested URL /n was not found on this server." I get that every time I click a link in twhirl. -
Inappropriate?I have FF3/Mac and am having this problem. Clicking a URL just opens my default text editor, instead of my default browser. Any solution in sight?
I’m sad

This is an issue in AIR, that we unfortunately cannot solve. But, if you are on a mac, some people have had success with http://www.rubicode.com/Software/RCDefaultApp/
