Inappropriate?Same here.. and it wont allow me to cut and paste URLs from Twhirl so you have to type them out.. annoying
I’m frustrated

I have the same comment about cutting and pasting...just never voiced before! -
Inappropriate?Do you have BBedit set to open certain filetypes? (like .php .net. .html .htm etc?)
-
i too have the same prob. i looked to see what filetypes it's set to open and i can't seem to see any. any help would be appreciated. thx! -
I have same problem with UltraEdit, and I do have UE set to open those filetypes. -
I don't have this problem...sounds like settings need to be changed. -
Inappropriate?I'm having this same problem with Twirl and other Adobe Air apps (AlertThingy). Running OS 10.5.2. Clicking links in Twirl opens BBEdit and not
Firefox.
I've looked around at all preferences and can't seem to find the solution.
Please help!

Inappropriate?update: zelph has posted a workaround at http://getsatisfaction.com/seesmic/to...
My problem is that twhirl tries to open links in a text editor (TextMate) instead of my default browser (Firefox). Updating to AIR 1.1 didn't fix the problem.
According to RCDefaultApp, TextMate is set up to open text/plain MIME types and the following types of URLs and files: txmt, adb, ads, asa, ascx, ashx, asmx, aspx, bash_login, bash_logout, bash_profile, bib, bsh, build, cfdg, cfg, cfm, cfml, cl, cls, cm3, config, cpt, cpy, css, d, dbm, dbml, diff, dist, dtml, dwt, dylan, e, el, erbsql, erl, ext, f90, f95, fcgi, fpp, fscript, fxscript, g, grl, gtd, gtdlog, hrl, hs, htc, htm, html, i, ifb, in, inf, io, js, l, lgt, lhs, lisp, logo, lsp, lua, m3, m4, markdn, markdown, md, mdown, mediawiki, mel, mips, ml, mli, mll, mly, moinmoin, mp, mtml, mud, patch, pde, perl, php, php3, php4, php5, phtml, pod, properties, pt, python, rbx, re, rem, remind, rest, rjs, rpy, rst, rxml, s5, sch, scm, servlet, shtml, slate, spim, ss, sty, swg, tex, text, textfile, textmate, tld, tmbundle, tmBundle, tmCommand, tmDragCommand, tmLanguage, tmMacro, tmp, tmplugin, tmPlugin, tmPlugIn, tmPreferences, tmproj, tmProj, tmProject, tmproject, tmReleaseNotes, tmSnippet, tmTemplate, tmtheme, tmTheme, tsv, tt, txt, utf8, vb, vss, wiki, wikipedia, xml, xql, yml -
Inappropriate?I have this problem too, but links open in Mozilla Prism instead of FF.
I’m sad inside.

Inappropriate?I was having this problem on Vista with UltraEdit opening, was to go into UE and disable file types associated (I use Notepad++ anyways). This worked for me.
