Odd Huge Memory Usage

RAM: 4GB DDr2 800
Processor: Intel Q6600 Quad Core

Woke up this morning and had a nifty little notice that told me to close some programs, memory is low. Huh? So, I look, and Twhirl is though the roof, well over 300K. See the attached screenshot.
Right now I am up to 340,476K. Restarting twhirl, hoping for the best.

I have got the same problem, however the highest memory usage I have seen was just over 50,000 K. That strikes me as very odd for a text messaging system.

Inappropriate?I constantly have about 220MB of memory usage after 2-3 hours of keeping Thwirl running in the background on my MacBook Pro 1st Gen with Leopard 10.5.5 and Air 1.5.
At the moment it is at 250MB.

Inappropriate?In WIndows XP, I had Twhirl use over 1.5 GIGS of memory after being opened a mere 6 days.
