Inappropriate?A Pause button is not a good idea because Seesmic main interest resides in sponteneity of the contributions. Giving ability to pause introduces "production".

This does not really make sense why others who think differently would not have the option. If you don't want to use a pause, don't use it, that's fine. Having options has nothing to do with production, but with creativity and freedom.
